The process...

  • I only require a 5-6ft table and 2 chairs in an area out of the way, but accessible to guests who wish to gather and watch me create. 

  • I provide all the supplies I need.

  • I take photos of guests as they arrive. I may have an assistant to help with reference photos. Guests only need to pose for a moment.

  • I sketch and paint the portraits with high quality Derwent Inktense Pencils on 5"x 7" watercolor paper.

  • I utilize a simple design with minimal facial features to provide a timeless effect.

  • Portraits take 5-8 minutes each. Please keep in mind that time varies and not every guest will want a portrait.

  • Each portrait is signed and placed in a protective sleeve with a backing board.

  • Sometimes guests leave early and I want to be sure everyone is happy, so if I don't get everyone sketched I will take left-over reference photos home to be sure all the portraits are finished. They are then sent via USPS at no additional charge.

Pricing

Packages start at $650 for 3 hours creation time.
A 50% deposit and a signed contract via Square will secure your date.

Custom stamps are available with initials and date for $40

Your deposit holds the date. If you cancel or if there is an issue and the date is changed I can try to accommodate you, however if the new date is not available I will apply the deposit toward a large, detailed portrait or painting from a photo of your choice. 

Travel up to 100 miles round trip from Greenville, SC is included in price. Any farther and it is .40 a mile. (Example: Greenville to Charleston is $130)
A detailed travel quote will be provided for over 6 hours travel time to include accommodations.
